  • To be able to avail rebates for water tanks in NSW, the tanks must have a minimum water capacity of 2000 litres.
  • It must be fully paid and installed between the 1st of July, 2007 and the 30th of June, 2011.
  • Water tanks in NSW that are installed and comply with the Building Sustainability Index are not eligible for a rebate.
  • Households with no connection to the mains supply are eligible for the purchase of the tank only.
