Water scarcity around the world has come about primarily due to unethically practices of wasting water while agriculture greatly takes away at least 80% of the water. Over the past 100 years, water usage has gone up by six times globally, and is threatening to double again by the year 2050, driven mainly by demands of irrigation and increased agricultural activities.

People have now realized the importance of rain water harvesting and different measures have been taken in order to save them. Rainwater harvesting has existed since the early Romans and today is by theory the same, although techniques and technology have changed substantially. One of such technique which is very convenient and space effective is underground tank storage. This is a best practice in fast growing urban areas where there is really no room available aboveground to set tank.

Rainwater is collected as it has got many benefits like it is a free Source of Water, reduces monthly water bills etc. Underground tanks can be cheaper than drilling a new well and can supply a homes water needs entirely.

The Underground water tanks are built of durable polyethylene  and concrete and are structurally sound so they can do the job underground without any damage to the tank. Hereby it reduces the maintenance cost and overhead charges. The tanks are designed with ribs that provide extra strength and it is also tested and recommended by most of the research organizations. They come with a flow-through barrel filter to keep sediment and water pollutants out of the tank. It can be safe for children and out of their reach as these units have lockable lid and safety bars.

The Underground water tanks are availale in pre made sizes from 1000L to  10,000L and much larger in on site construction, with the possibility of Variable connections and sizes for connections to achieve greater capacity. This tank can be installed wherever you choose and is designed to handle the storm water runoff from your home which is currently wasted water. Easy to follow Installation guidelines prepared by independent engineer and also easy enough for any qualified competent builder or plumber to install.
